A month after the November 2016 election, a small ensemble gathered in an East Village theater to share “Revival,” a spiritual folk-rock music show offering a vision of a world rooted in love and justice. The lyrics, inspired largely by Hebrew biblical texts, are set to music composed by Kristen Plylar-Moore, a theater educator and writer who was raised Catholic, but who has made her spiritual home in the queer Jewish community. Plylar-Moore began writing the show in 2015 in response to the political rhetoric of the presidential campaign. The show is now available to travel. There’s also a CD. RevivalTheShow.com joker123
