Paper Brigade

Named in honor of the group of writers and intellectuals in the Vilna Ghetto who rescued thousands of Jewish books and documents from destruction by the Nazis, Paper Brigade is a new literary annual offering a snapshot of the Jewish literary landscape in America and abroad. The premier issue features Ann Goldstein and Etgar Keret on translation; Maira Kalman and Art Spiegelman on the first Jewish books they fell in love with, and poetry by Esther Schor. jewishbookcouncil.org
