Lilith offers summer and semester-long internships to college students and recent graduates. Summer interns are expected to commit to at least two days per week in Lilith’s New York office. School-year internships may vary in their weekly commitment.

A Lilith internship includes supervision by senior staff, participation in all editorial meetings, and routine office work relating to the assignment and editing of articles, preparing copy for the designer and printer, covering news of Jewish and feminist interest, ordering books for review, reading manuscripts, and more. College credit may be available. (Plus excellent snacks, wide-ranging experience, and good company.)

To apply, please direct the following materials to info@lilith.org:

  • your résumé, including three references;
  • a letter telling us why you would like to intern at Lilith;
  • writing sample(s), which may include published articles, material written for a course, or a book review you’d like to submit.

We consider applications year-round.
